Mothers Day Gift Guide 2020

Mother’s Day is just a few short weeks away – & in today’s different times, it’s something I am looking forward to. A little bit of normalcy, am I right? Here’s a few favorite things of mine if you need some ideas to celebrate your sweet mom this year.

I’m all about spa days, in of course right now. I’m obsessed with this scrub, these bath bombs + salts. If your feeling a little fancy – my favorite face mask and hair towel too. Give her a candle to light too while she’s relaxing.

And because most of us are staying in right now – we should be cozy + comfortable. The best cozy slippers, my favorite sherpa throw blanket (that’s under $30 too!) and my go to comfy top.

For our moms who love to cook and spend time in the kitchen – my current favorite cookbook, a gorgeous dutch oven that can be left out AND used year round, my favorite bake ware set and a pretty set of hand towels for daily use.

Our moms deserve something pretty to set out in their homes – am I right? A couple of favorite pretty home essentials. I just brought this gorgeous marble tray home last month – now I think I need one in every single room. It’s perfect for the coffee table, the kitchen to organize your spices + oils or on the bathroom counter to display her things. I’m on the pedestal rage right now – elevating simple things such as hand soaps + lotions, plants or candles on just about any space – I LOVE this larger pedestal, it’s vintage and unique. This is another great option if your looking for something round, but still large enough to display a plant or candle. And I love this little mini stand – because it’s mini. I have a small candle on mine. And if you just need something simple and pretty to display the gorgeous arrangement of flowers or plant your gifting her – I love this taupe option and these lattice pots.

I think it’s safe to say we’re all spending a bit more time working in our own yards this year – let’s spice up mom’s garden game with a few gorgeous tools – I love this 3 piece set and this garden tote + seat combo. Also, these gold plated tools are what my dreams are made of.

I hope this gives you a few good ideas for the moms in our lives — stay safe + healthy out there. Happy Sunday. Xoxo.

January Link Up

January at our house is all about the refresh. After I get everything winter put away I love a good de-clutter of all my spaces. This year I tackled our kitchen – tossing an entire garbage bag full of junk and donating two totes worth of dishes and kitchen tools we just don’t use or had duplicates of. I really want everything to feel bright + fresh – something about starting the new year that way. I hadn’t done this since we got married friends – THIRTEEN years ago! Who’s with me?

I’ve found a few things worth sharing so far for our homes in 2020 to really bring that feeling in – along with shopping my own home and moving things around, it’s helped refresh our space so much! I wanted to share a few favorite items with you, these are giving me so much inspiration – AND wanted to remind you too, it’s not the “things” in our homes. I never want you to feel pressured to buy anything else. However, I do love sharing products that I love + even if they are things you can reference back to when you end up needing them, I hope you’ll do so.

For my kitchen refresh I ended up needing a few new tools – here’s the first set I purchased, we are loving them so far – they seem to be great quality!

And these basic tools to mix and match with my wooden spoons & spatulas.

And in keeping things cozy, I picked up this throw for our entry way basket in the living room. I love the pom pom’s and it’s extra soft + plush.

A few things giving me all the inspiration right now. GAH. Can we design someone’s space around these items together?

Woven Leather Chair | Seagrass Lamp | Purple Pillow | Blush Pillow

I’ve been wanting to add a lamp to my entry way table – you just can’t have enough of that layered lighting. I ** think this is the ONE. But I haven’t decided for sure yet. All the heart eyes regardless.

I hope you’ve all had the BEST month. I’m sharing details over on IG for February’s giveaway – make sure your following over there too. Happy Friday! xoxo.
